Barry Fishman

Barry Fishman is the President & CEO of Teva Canada Limited (the Canadian subsidiary of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.). Teva Canada Limited is the leading generic pharmaceutical company in Canada with over 1,500 employees and three production facilities.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. is a global Pharmaceutical company specializing in the development, production and marketing of generic and proprietary branded pharmaceuticals as well as active pharmaceutical ingredients. Teva is the largest generic drug company in the world with over 40,000 employees – and Teva products fill more than 1 billion prescriptions globally each year.

Barry spent seventeen years with Eli Lilly Canada and held a variety of leadership positions in finance, human resources, operations, business development and marketing. His last position at Lilly Canada was Vice President, Marketing.

After graduating from McGill University in Montreal with a concentration in finance and accounting, he went on to become a Certified Public Accountant at Deloitte in Costa Mesa, California.

Barry is Chair of the Canadian Generic Pharmaceutical Association and a member of the Executive Committee.

Barry is married to Lynda, the previous Founder of Adventure Valley, a unique summer camp and event venue and the author of Repairing Rainbows. They live in Thornhill and have 3 grown children and 2 dogs.
