25 Years ago…a devastated mother was empowered to start a charity in memory of her teenage son, lost to leukemia at the young age of 17. By rallying Canadian parents, families and kids together to empower each other, Childhood Cancer Canada was born.

25 Years ago, tragically, a childhood cancer diagnosis often meant little hope for survival. Thanks to Childhood Cancer Canada’s impact & leadership, our kids now have hope for a healthy future, but our work is not done. 1 in 5 kids will not survive.

Today…we remain Canada’s leading Foundation for kids with cancer and their families. Join us in celebrating 25 years of funding national research while providing connectivity, education and community programs to kids with cancer and their families.
