The 2012 event season is fast approaching! Volunteer Event Organizers (VEOs) who are eager to start planning, can now register their events for the 2012 year! If you are a first-time VEO, or a returning VEO with a new event, click here to begin the registration process. If you are a returning VEO and would like to hold your same event again, log-in to your Members Area, click the name of your 2011 event under “Everything You Need to Do: Start Here,” then click on the blue bar at the top of your “My Event” tab to renew your event for 2012.

Looking to participate in a 2012 event? Participants will be able to sign-up online for an event once the event has been registered by a VEO. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see your local event registered quite yet; events are added daily, so check back often!

Childhood Cancer Canada is proud to be an international partner of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Together we share a vision of funding critical pediatric cancer research to help conquer childhood cancer. St. Baldrick’s mission is to fund the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors a long healthy life. It is the world’s largest volunteer-driven fundraising program for childhood cancer research.

Through this partnership with Childhood Cancer Canada, proceeds from St. Baldrick's head-shaving events throughout Canada are distributed to Canadian institutions through the C17 Research Network. Funds raised in Canada stay in Canada! The C17 Research Network also receives funds through an annual St. Baldrick's grant to the Children's Oncology Group (COG).
