ABOUT THE EVENT
STEM Biomedical Run for Hope
Date: May 1-7, 2024

The team at STEM Biomedical is returning for the virtual Run for Hope from May 1st-7th, 2024. Participants can choose from various physical challenges ranging from 1km to 42.2km to raise awareness and funds for much-needed biomedical research and Childhood Cancer Canada’s community programs.
GOAL FOR THE EVENT
The Run for Hope aims to raise funds for the advancement of biomedical research in the search for cures for chronic diseases, including childhood cancer. Individuals everywhere are affected, and the list is seemingly endless: numerous types of cancers; neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's and Alzheimer’s; genetic disorders such as Cystic Fibrosis and muscular dystrophies, among many others. Despite significant progress being made in combating these diseases, many still lack cures.
STEM Biomedical is working to change this, and they are motivated by everyone who is affected. All funds raised through the virtual Run for Hope will be shared equally between STEM Biomedical and Childhood Cancer Canada.
