Glenn Fraser, Chair Board of Directors
Partner and VP of MNP LLP
Glenn Fraser is currently a Partner and VP, National Leader Food and Beverage Processing at MNP LLP one of Canada's fastest growing Chartered Accountant, Tax and Business Advisory firms. Previously, Glenn founded and acted as CEO of The Taligent Group, a market leader in outsourced accounting and finance solutions. Glenn serves on the Board of Directors of MNP LLP as well as acting as Chair of the Board at Childhood Cancer Canada. Glenn obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1992 and completed his MBA in 1993.
Patrick Sullivan, Director
Childhood Cancer Research Advocate
Patrick Sullivan is a passionate childhood cancer research advocate. Professionally, Patrick is a securities and corporate-commercial litigator based in Vancouver, B.C. Patrick is also the proud father of three remarkable children and would do almost anything for the simple pleasure of holding his son Finn's hand again.
Abbas Khan, Director
Abbas Khan is an innovative leader with multinational experience who has driven both customer growth and market share, Abbas has significant CEO experience with a strong background in transformational change. Abbas was President of United Technologies Corporation (Carrier Canada) from 2011-2012. He was President & CEO of Osram Sylvania Ltd. from 2007-2011. He was Vice-President, Lafarge Canada Inc. from 2013-2016, and served as General Manger, Business Administration & Controller, Siemens Canada Limited, from 1994-2000. As part of his community involvement, Abbas is the incoming Chair of the Board of Directors of Skin Cancer Canada.
Barry Fishman, Director
CEO, ABcann Global
Barry Fishman is the CEO of ABcann Global, a publicly traded cannabis business. Barry had a 30-year career in pharmaceuticals, and was previously the CEO of Merus Labs, Teva Canada and Taro Canada. Barry started his career in the pharmaceutical industry with Lilly Canada where his last position was Vice President, Marketing. After graduating from McGill University in Montreal with a concentration in finance and accounting, he went on to become a CPA at Deloitte in Costa Mesa, California. Barry is married to Lynda, the previous Founder of Adventure Valley, the author of Repairing Rainbows a clinical therapist and an inspirational speaker. Barry and Lynda have three children, two grandchildren and three rescue dogs.
Deborah Potts, Director
National Account Executive, Procom
Deborah Potts is the National Account Executive at Procom, one of North America’s leading staffing and contract workforce providers. A graduate of Queen’s University (BAH) and a Diploma in Human Resources (CHRM). Deborah is the parent of a childhood cancer survivor (a daughter diagnosed at the age of 4). She has become an advocate for Childhood Cancer Canada, creating a video to raise awareness and funding for cancer research and hosting a number of fundraising events to raise much-needed funds.
Jonathan Saumier, Director
Lawyer, Burchells LLP
Jonathan Saumier became involved with the Foundation to honour the memory of his youngest daughter, Danica, who passed away shortly after being diagnosed with hepatoblastoma. Jonathan is a native of Montreal, Quebec. He attended Carleton University’s Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs where, in 2004, he received a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management. Jonathan was employed by various federal departments, agencies and crown corporations in Ottawa before entering law school at Universite de Moncton, where he received his LL.B. in 2009. The majority of his practice is focused on providing advice to banks and other creditors on a variety of issues. He was called to the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society in 2010, and to the Law Society of New Brunswick in 2012.
Matthew von Teichman, Director
CEO, Green Space Brands
Matthew is the CEO of publicly listed GreenSpace Brands, the owners of some of Canada’s largest natural food brands. He started the business in 2003 to provide healthier products for his growing family, and grew it into Canada’s largest Organic and Natural Food company, with products in every grocery chain in Canada. Previously, Matthew co-founded and was President of JobShark Corporation, which grew to become one of the largest online recruitment organizations in North America, boasting 100 employees in nine countries. Matthew sold the business in 2002 and remained on the Board of Directors until 2006.

President & CEO Media Resources Inc.
Jeff Rushton is President & CEO of Media Resources International Inc., one of North America’s largest LED display manufacturers and large-format digital printers and Canada’s largest outdoor sign installation company. Prior to investing in Media Resources and taking on his current role, Jeff served as Executive Vice president of Vizible Corporation where he was responsible for sales, marketing, business development and operations. He has also served in executive-level positions as president, executive vice president or chief operating officer for Fujitsu Consulting, Netigy Corporation, MCI Systemhouse and Rogers Communications. Jeff also ran his own consulting company, with a focus on strategy and change management. Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant and he holds an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Masters, Business Administration from University of Toronto.
While Jeff’s exuberance for any business challenge is infectious (and exhausting!), his passion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of children with cancer is even more inspiring and motivating. As Founder, Chair, and Passionate Volunteer of Coast the Coast Against Cancer Foundation, Jeff’s vision has resulted in a strong and growing community of like-minded people that have contributed to making Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation the leading independent funder of childhood cancer programs in Canada.
Tom Fenton – Board Secretary

Tom Fenton joined Aird & Berlis LLP as a partner in June 1997 after practising with a national, Toronto-based law firm for many years. He is Practice Group Leader of the Corporate Finance Group and a member of the Corporate/Commercial Group, as well as the Energy, Mergers & Acquisitions and Mining Groups.
Tom’s practice is primarily focused on securities and corporate law, with an emphasis on corporate finance transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Tom also advises corporations with respect to securities, regulatory compliance, corporate governance matters, continuous disclosure obligations, general corporate matters and shareholder meetings.
Tom currently sits as a director and/or officer of a number of public and private companies. Away from the office, and in addition to having an active family life with his wife Susan and three grown kids, Tom is a keen sportsman, enjoying running, cycling, hockey and other sports.
Executive Chairman, Brookfield Financial
As President of Brookfield Financial, a global real asset investment bank, Brydon Cruise is responsible for originating and executing real estate M&A and debt and equity capital markets transactions. Brydon previously worked as Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets in the commercial mortgage-backed securities business.
Brydon’s passions are cycling, hockey, golf, family and spending time with great friends. Giving back is important to Brydon and supporting many charities over the years has been an exciting and fulfilling part of his journey. He is the Past Vice-Chair of the Board for YMCA Greater Toronto Area (2006-2013), Chair of The Toronto Real Estate Ride for JDRF (2007-2013) and has been a Top Fundraiser for Tour for Kids for the past five years.
Brydon has been married to Stacey for 25 years and they have a daughter and a son both attending university and two very cheerful golden retrievers.
Len Pace is a senior executive in the commercial real estate investment and development industry. Len and his wife Frances have three children: Madeline, Alex (1997-2009) and Ben. Following Alex’s diagnosis of osteosarcoma in 2007, Len and his family became actively involved in Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation, riding and volunteering in Tour for Kids since 2008, the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride (2011), and numerous Inside Ride events. Under the umbrella of “AMPed for Life”, the Pace family and a circle of close friends have organized the Bal de Neige since 2010, and have raised over $2.0 million for childhood cancer-related charities.
Len believes strongly in the power that a group of dedicated, focused and inspired people can deliver in support of a cause. He believes that Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation has the potential to truly change the world and particularly the journey and destination for those affected by childhood cancer.
Antonia Palmer, Director
Founder of Neuroblastoma Canada
Antonia entered the world of cancer in 2009 when her two year old son was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma. Antonia is the founder of Neuroblastoma Canada, the Education Officer of the Parent Advisory Council for the New Approaches to Neuroblastoma Therapy (NANT) consortium, a member of the Cancer in Young People Canada (CYP-C) steering committee, the pediatric community member for the Ontario Cancer Research Ethics Board (OCREB), and volunteers for many other cancer focused organizations. Antonia holds a masters degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Antonia lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband Aaron and three beautiful boys, Nate, Alex and Jonathan.
