Canaqua Sports partnership announcement

Childhood Cancer Canada Partners with Canaqua Sports

Childhood Cancer Canada is proud to announce a new partnership with Canaqua Sports, a Canadian-based endurance event organization known for their open water swim and multisport races.

Since 2015, Canaqua Sports has brought communities together through events that stretch from Vancouver to Halifax, recently expanding into the U.S. and the U.K. In 2025. They’re set to host their biggest season yet, with over 30 events, including the Mudskipper Championship Series and the launch of their 15K Ultra swim.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Canaqua Sports for standing with us. Open water swimmers face the unknown with every race – unpredictable conditions, long distances, and moments that test their mental strength as much as their physical endurance,” said Kyle Smith, Director of Development, Childhood Cancer Canada. “That same courage and determination lives in the kids we support. Every day, they navigate their own challenging journeys with incredible bravery.”

This partnership is a celebration of shared values: perseverance, hope, and a deep commitment to community. Together, Childhood Cancer Canada and Canaqua Sports aim to raise awareness, inspire action, and support children and families affected by childhood cancer across Canada.
