STEM Biomedical Runs for Hope Virtually

Join the STEM Biomedical team in the virtual Run for Hope marathon from May 15th-22nd. The 5km and 10km run will raise much-needed funds for medical research funding and Childhood Cancer programs.

The mission of the 2021 Run for Hope is to raise funds for the advancement of biomedical research in the search for cures for chronic diseases, including childhood cancer. Individuals everywhere are affected, and the list is seemingly endless: numerous types of cancers; neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's; genetic disorders such as cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophies, among many others. Significant progress has been made in combating these diseases, yet many still lack cures. They are striving to change this, and they are motivated by everyone who is affected. Proceeds from this event will be shared equally between STEM Biomedical and Childhood Cancer Canada.

STEM Biomedical is a federally registered non-profit dedicated to the advancement of biomedical research for the treatment of disease via in-depth interdisciplinary collaboration between the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. All aspects of planning, event coordination, and event management are conducted by STEM Biomedical.

Registration is currently open with limited spaces available.
