Milton Winterhawks vs. Cancer

Join the Milton Winterhawks community, as we come together for "Winterhawks vs. Cancer", a special event in support of Childhood Cancer Canada and in honour of one of our own, Zach Gibson.

This meaningful afternoon is dedicated to celebrating Zach’s life and legacy while raising funds to support children and families affected by childhood cancer. Together, we can turn remembrance into hope by helping Childhood Cancer Canada continue to provide vital programs, family support services, advocacy, and research initiatives across the country.

To honour Zach’s memory, we invite you to make a donation in his honour:

Every contribution helps ensure that no child or family faces childhood cancer alone. The event will feature friendly competition between the top fundraising Winterhawks team and the Halton Police, an open skate, fundraising challenges, silent auction, giveaways, food and ice cream trucks, vendors including baking, live music, a hockey equipment exchange, emergency vehicles display, and opportunities to learn more about Childhood Cancer Canada’s impact. Support your favourite team by making a donation and help us reach our fundraising goal of $10,000.

Whether you’re participating, cheering from the sidelines, or making a donation, your support will help create brighter futures for children and families facing childhood cancer.

Together, we play in Zach’s honour. Together, we make a difference.
