Tali's Fund Press Release February 2026 FINAL

Childhood Cancer Canada and Tali’s Fund Unite to Support Families Facing Pediatric Brain Tumours

By amplifying CCC’s existing financial assistance, Tali’s Fund is ensuring families impacted by pediatric brain cancers receive more meaningful relief when they need it most.

Toronto, ON — February 20, 2026 — Childhood Cancer Canada (CCC) is proud to announce a new partnership with Tali’s Fund, a collaboration that will directly strengthen support for families navigating pediatric brain tumours through CCC’s Compassionate Care Program.

Through this partnership, Tali’s Fund will provide enhanced financial assistance for families impacted by pediatric brain tumours across Canada.

A diagnosis of a pediatric brain tumour can place immense emotional and financial strain on families. Between treatment-related travel, time away from work, accommodation costs, and day-to-day living expenses, the financial burden can quickly compound during an already overwhelming time.

This funding will be directed specifically to families facing pediatric brain tumours and will match, dollar-for-dollar, the financial assistance already provided by CCC through its Compassionate Care Program.

By amplifying CCC’s existing assistance, Tali’s Fund is ensuring families receive more meaningful relief when they need it most.

“Partnerships like this are powerful because they deepen our combined impact,” said Kyle Smith, Director of Development, Childhoood Cancer Canada. “When a family is navigating a pediatric brain tumour diagnosis, financial stress should not be an additional burden. Thanks to Tali’s Fund, we can extend our support further and provide enhanced assistance to families facing some of the most complex childhood cancer diagnoses.”

“Tali’s Fund is proud to partner with Childhood Cancer Canada. Our organizations share a deep commitment to families and recognize that coordinated action creates greater impact than either could achieve alone. Together, we can simplify the path to meaningful assistance and strengthen the safety net for families across Canada.” – Kim Kowarsky Doron, Co-Founder & Executive Director, Tali’s Mom.
