Our Programs

The Emergency Fund Program

The Emergency Fund is a financial program available to patients and families in Canada who have a child or adolescent with cancer that require financial assistance.

The EmPower Pack Program

Childhood Cancer Canada sends EmPower Packs to families in Canada whose child is newly diagnosed with cancer. These EmPower Packs provide families with information and inspiration to cope with what comes next. EmPower Packs are specialized based on the child’s interest and needs.

The Survivor Scholarship Program

The Childhood Cancer Canada CIBC Survivor Scholarship Program is open to young adult cancer survivors. Survivor Scholarships support post-secondary academic aspirations and recognize the personal triumphs of students who have survived childhood cancer. Applications open annually on March 1 and close on April 30.

The Benevolent Fund Program

The Benevolent Fund supports families with much needed financial assistance to help with the costs of their child’s funeral. Childhood Cancer Canada will fund up to $1,500 in expenses to the family’s funeral service provider for final arrangements and memorial services.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the CCC scholarship towards my undergraduate studies in Biomedical science.

I was diagnosed with Wilm's Tumor at the age of 5. I am now 21. The CCC Scholarship has helped me to afford transportation and has also bought the textbooks that I will use to graduate.

We attended the Purple Party, a set tour of Murdoch Mysteries, and have been provided with tickets to special events. These memories mean so much to our family

This scholarship will help me immensely with my schooling. I am very grateful to Childhood Cancer Canada for their support and the opportunities they have given me since I was young.

I cannot express how thankful and blessed I am to have been chosen to be a recipient for the survivor scholarship. Receiving this scholarship made it possible for me to pursue my dreams and go to university

The CCC Scholarship is an amazing reminder of the hope that Childhood Cancer survivors have for the future. They can own their story and be confident in what the future holds!
